Our History
The specific objectives and purposes of this association is to promote godly living, good behavior, love, peace, brotherhood and solidarity among the Togolese community in Georgia USA. Togolese Association of Georgia endeavors to identify ways and means to provide charitable assistance to needy members of the Togolese community; promotes social, cultural, economic, educational and scientific knowledge and awareness among the members. enhances public awareness of the culture and history of Togo and its people through various educational seminars, workshops, conferences and publications. addresses issues of discrimination facing Togolese and facilitate equity and fairness in the areas of immigration, employment, health, social services and economic development. promotes and cultivates fraternal spirit and greater understanding among its members. provides assistance to members of the Togolese community who may be facing hardship due to health, social, financial and legal problems. Brings together in a spirit of friendship and brotherhood, with fond memories, Togolese and their descendants residing in Georgia.
